Our beef is shipped in an insulated box with gel packs to arrive frozen on your doorstep - FOR FREE!
We will ship your order only on a Monday or a Tuesday to ensure that it arrives frozen and of the highest quality.

How is your beef raised?
Our beef is raised on pasture in central Virginia. It is 100% grass finished! We practice rotational grazing as much as possible and work hard to preserve and rebuild the health of the soil we manage. We offer free-choice minerals to both maintain the health of our animals and to increase the nutritional value of our meat.
Do you dry age, and for how long?
Yes! Our beef is custom aged for at least 14 days.
Is your beef processed at a USDA processing facility?
Yes! We work with a local processor in central Virginia that is USDA certified. They do an excellent job of ensuring quality, working closely with inspectors to make sure that our beef is safe and delicious.
Are there any chemicals involved in your processing?
No! Our processor uses only water and white vinegar. No bleach, no chemicals!
What is your shipping process?
We carefully pack orders at the beginning of the week to ensure that it does not get delayed and sit over the weekend. We use insulated boxes and gel packs to keep your beef frozen and of the highest quality!
What is the order deadline?
We must receive your order by Sunday evening at 8:00 PM to ship that week.
What if my order arrives thawed?
We work hard to make sure that your order will arrive completely frozen. However, we cannot control shipping delays, etc., and there may be some circumstances where your meat may be slightly thawed around the edges. It is still perfectly safe to refreeze and consume! (See the USDA's guidelines on refreezing thawed meat here.) However, should your order arrive with a substantial amount of thawing, please contact us. Your satisfaction is our highest priority!
